Free software projects
Here are a variety of free, open source software projects. None are actively developed at the moment, but they are not necessarily abandoned.
All of these are released under the GNU General Public License.
I have abandoned Silk/QL. I don't need it any longer and can't imagine spending a lot of time working on something that I don't need.
